Tokyo Temple & Shrine Walk

At Shiba Park Hotel, we offer a volunteer-guided walking tour in English.
This tour takes you through historical landmarks located within walking distance of the hotel, offering a glimpse into Tokyo’s rich cultural heritage.
On this tour, we will visit the following two iconic sites:

Zojoji Temple

One of Tokyo’s most prominent temples, Zojoji served as the family temple of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Its impressive grounds and majestic main hall attract around one million visitors annually.

Atago Shrine

Located on a small hill, this peaceful shrine is well known for its steep stone staircase, the “Steps to Success,” consisting of 86 steps.
Climbing to the top rewards you with a quiet and refreshing atmosphere, away from the bustle of the city.

This warm and insightful tour offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the history and spirituality of Tokyo.
