This book by the Swedish physician Hans Rosling offers how to think in order to
properly understand the world. He explains the importance of overcoming the 10 assumptions we have and making decisions based on data. For instance, he uses
examples and data to explain that negative thoughts such as “the world is getting worse” and stereotypes such as “the world is divided into rich and poor countries” are our assumptions, and that the world is actually getting better.
